“Stormy Passage” is an cold wax painting that embodies and explores the energy of a stormy. As if electrified, sharp brightly coloured strokes of wax streak the panel while clouds of white float in between. Energetic strikes and slashes bring a vitality to the painting that is similar to that of the electric energy that can be felt in the middle of a storm. Patches of turquoise and green contrast nicely with the reds and yellows of the streaks of wax.
